From time to time, you may need to update the software on your ChipmunkTel box or ChimpunkTel Desk Phone. This is simple to do.
For ChimpunkTel Boxes:
Pick up your phone and press the star key (*) 3 times, ***.
You will hear the Auto Attendant list the options. Press 6 for software update. If it is available, the Attendant will let you know. Press 1 to start the update. Then hang up.
That’s it. Your ChipmunkTel box will start the software update. It takes about 3 minutes to complete.
For ChimpunkTel Desk Phones:
Press the “Home” key. Scroll to “Settings” and press the Enter (check-mark key). Look at the sub-menu on the phone for “FW Update,” and press that key. If an update is available, it will let you know. Press the “Confirm” key to start the update process. It takes about 3 minutes to complete.
